The WK1 has been designed specifically for use in homes with a maximum water consumption of 2000 litres per day. Putting that into perspective, it is estimated that one person uses about 500 litres per day. The extent of pipework and the size of water cylinder are other factors in the equation, but they are determined largely by property size. On that basis, the WK1 will treat effectively an average family house with up to 4 bedrooms and one bathroom.
Water-King is an electronic water conditioner that inhibits scale formation in hot and cold water services, removes existing scale deposits and is the only product of its kind proven by independent laboratory tests to partially soften hot water. It requires no plumbing and has a 25 year maintenance free design life. It really is a ‘fit and forget’ alternative to conventional salt softeners!
While the Water-King WK1 is suitable for most applications, our Water-King WK1-E is a more powerful model specifically designed to protect high output electric water heaters with an output above 5kW.
